Max Whitehead is a leading employment relations practitioner who has had more than 25 years experience. His understanding of the complexities of employment law, and how it relates to both employers and employees, is currently much in demand. He specializes in assisting employees who are facing potential redundancy. Max was Auckland City Councilâ€™s Employment Relations manager then commenced his own business headed negotiations on behalf of Regional Council Staff Association and Auckland City Council bargaining for Collective Employment Agreements. Over many years Max has been instrumental in defusing disputes in notoriously difficult workplaces before they escalate out of control.
Maree Saunders is a Director of the Whitehead Group. She has a Diploma in business Studies majoring in Employment Relations. Maree has also gained vast experience with and Employment matters while she was employed at the Employers and Manufacturers Association.
Chris Waterman is a young advocate who strives for the best. Currently attending Auckland University studying Law and Politics he plans to move into Employment Law and advocacy services. Chris engages with clients and enjoys working with the leading employment solutions firm.
Paul has been actively involved in Human Resource and Employment Relations issues for over 15 years. Paul has had experience as a Recruiting Training Manager and at the Senior Manager level. Paul has also been involved with the Fire Service for a number of years.
Lauren has returned to the Whitehead Group with knowledge in Generalist Human Resource matters. She has a degree in Psychology and is looking to further her studies in the field of Employment Relations. Lauren has had experience with various sized HR team for nationwide in industries such as Telecommunications and Media.
